Just because the spelling of the surname does not agree with your way of spelling it does not mean that you can ignore it - spelling was not standardised until the start of the 20C

The site can be used in two ways - either start with a census extract, or use the indexes.
- On the census transcript pages the #Ref number is clickable and opens a new page giving other census references for that person. Clicking on the family number opens a FAMILY HISTORIAN generated family history report in pdf format. This will contain information on all members of that family that I know of - whether they were HAWORTHs or not. They may never even have lived in Church or Oswaldtwistle.
